26th August 2009 - We have now opened the new shop at Wigan. We are still in the process of finishing stocking the shelves and finishing the server cabinets off. We are also looking for new staff for future expansion. If you have a clean driving licence and an interest in all things computer then email us a cv to the address on the contact page. We are initially looking for someone to work in the shop and repair bay, which may lead onto on the road work at a later date.

31st July 2009 - The shop at Chorley has now closed and we should be open in the new shop at Wigan on the 10th August 2009 at 9.30 a.m. May we express a warm welcome to both our existing and new customers.

15th May 2009 - Due to continued expansion we are fast outgrowing our current premises at Chorley. We have just leased a considerably larger building (175sq Metres) in Whelley near Wigan. We are currently in the process of fitting out the new building and should hopefully be moving in the first half of July 2009. Further details to follow. Watch this space!

We as a company endeavour in all areas to offer an exemplary and professional service to all our customers and to this end believe that membership of trade organisations with like minded individuals is an important part of these endeavours. PJR Micro LTD has therefore affiliated with a number of trade bodies. The purpose of these trade bodies is not only to provide us with a set of guidelines and codes of practice to which we have to conform, thus ensuring our services are delivered in a manner which ensures maximum customer satisfaction but also to provide an independent source of arbitration if a customer feels we have failed in our duty of care to them. The trade associations that we are currently affiliated with are the TCA( Technology Channels Assosiation), ITACS (Independent trade association of computing specialists), Brigantia and Synaxon.

After considerable market research we came to the conclusion that consumers had a poor perception of the computer industry as a whole. The main complaints being with regards to the impartiality and poor support offered by many of the large computer retailers and support organizations. Another complaint was the high cost of obtaining reasonable support often lengthy calls to support staff who were unable to resolve a lot of customer issues. Other areas of complaint included the unwillingness of retailers to offer custom solutions to match customer requirements instead only offering off the shelf products as a best match scenario.
